What has surfaced in the in-between spaces of your calendar? If your silences have lost their quiet, and your pauses no longer hold rest - you are not alone. Under our daily pressures to produce and perform, we are often pushed to pretend and persist. What if there was a place outside the reins of appearances - a space to try on new ways of seeing, of feeling and ultimately, of being? My approach is centered on creating this space with you, inviting the clarity and courage to reclaim your hopes, your strengths, and the wisdom of your scars. Through the many journeys I have walked with clients, I have specialized in working with family and relationship traumas, people pleasing tendencies, and navigating immigrant and minority experiences. I am also passionate about the intersection of our psychological and virtual selves - exploring how our algorithms, digital personas, cherishes characters and video game playstyles can serve as profound windows into ourselves. If religious or spiritual practices are a part of your world, I also bring years of personal and clinical experience helping clients develop rich and authentic spiritual selves. Drawing from a thoughtful selection of evidence-based modalities, my approach prioritizes the most powerful agents of change found in psychotherapy research - our alliance and your engagement. In our sessions, you can expect warmth, authenticity and curiosity, sprinkled with insights and humor that will invite the best in you. I believe nearly all change begins with a sense of curiosity - and when properly nurtured, can be akin to a superpower. It can serve as a balm for rigidity, a spark for connections, and your keys to new possibilities. Let’s rediscover you - in a therapeutic space where old scripts are displaced, and your tomorrows more fully embraced. Outside of sessions, I am a storyteller at heart. You can find me running Dungeons & Dragons campaigns and catching up on psychological TV shows and anime — Severance and Arcane are recent favourites. I love spending time in nature, whether it's camping, hiking, biking or playing a game of tennis. I recharge spending quality time with family and friends… until my inner introvert kicks in and needs a break. This is when I enjoy dabbling in poetry, getting lost in open-world video games, and adding more books to a library I'll likely never finish. I am continually fascinated by the spiritual and religious dimensions of life, and the rich conversations happening between cutting-edge science and ancient wisdom traditions that seek to make sense of the world and most importantly, help us find our place within it." Looking forward to us meeting you, Alex
