There’s robust evidence suggesting nature is a potent healer. The National Institutes of Health states that spending time in nature provides a plethora of health benefits.

Physical Benefits: Natural sunlight stimulates vitamin D production. A study from the University of Michigan suggests that nature walks can reduce levels of depression and perceived stress, and enhance mental well-being.

Mental Benefits: Nature reduces cortisol, the body's primary stress hormone. The Journal of Environmental Psychology showcases research indicating nature’s role in mood enhancement and concentration improvement.

Emotional Benefits: According to Stanford researchers, walking in nature yields a decrease in anxiety and rumination (focused attention on one's distress and ways of alleviating it).

At Noia, we champion the healing powers of nature, seamlessly integrating it into our holistic wellness approach.
